They were way ahead of most U.S. industries when it came to being prepared to responded to COVID-19.
“Our farmers already had established a culture of safety. They already had safety measures in effect to protect their workers, community and crops. While most people and industries were caught off guard by the COVID-19 crisis, California farmers were already taking many of the mandated safety precautions as a matter of routine.”
