This year’s WPH Regulatory Conference will be held in a virtual format and will provide attendees with important information on pesticide regulations and other activities impacting the pesticide and agricultural industry.

We have a great line up of speakers for the conference who will provide important information on pesticide related regulations that could impact registrants, retailers, applicators, growers, and local regulators. Discussion topics at this year’s conference will include an introduction of Acting Director Julie Henderson, our opening day’s keynote speaker, who will be discussing DPR’s priorities and goals for 2022. Day two will open with Don Cameron, President of the California State Board of Food and Agriculture speaking on the state of agriculture in California.
Additional topics include updates from various DPR branch chiefs regarding pesticide registration issues, the industry perspective on emerging regulatory trends impacting California pesticide use, and water and air quality issues related to pesticide applications. Specific programs like the Pest Management and Economic Analysis, Sustainable Pest Management Work Group, the Pollinator Protection Plan, and Statewide Pesticide Network Notification will also be discussed.
